STATUS: These are still open. But we did manage to find the Hollywood 1025 and Simplicity 4906 that had been posted -- photos on the Found page if you're curious.

Pattern Quest #1 -- 1960s/1970s dress and duster)

Looking for an old favorite

We'll let Sally tell you about the dress and duster pattern she wants:

I believe this was Butterick. It may have been McCalls, but I think I remember the yellow Butterick label. I graduated from high school in 1972, and wore this outfit before then, so lets say its 1968-71.

The dress had a lower waist and a high neck with a big bow with very long and shaped ends. The sleeve was fitted to the elbow, then ballooned out to a tight and long cuff. The front top buttoned up with small buttons.
The duster was v-neck with buttons down the front, short sleeved.

I made this and LOVED it - and have been thinking nostalgically about it. I've flipped through a number of vintage websites, but never found it. If you think you have it and aren't willing to part with it, can you share a scan of the envelope and the pattern number? Then at least I will know what I'm looking for!
