Yes, but does it work? It sure does! While the other Post pages tell you what folks are looking for right now, this page shows you some of the things recently found.

Some of these patterns never even appeared on the Post pages because we had the pattern (or were able to find it immediately). But most of them were completed because Pattern Rescue has hundreds of members who are crazy about sewing patterns -- and more than happy to go looking for them. Many thanks, once again, to those who have taken the time to send in tips, hunt through a stash, and deal with scans. You're what makes this place work!

Riding outfit pattern found

Simplicity 9453 misses Cattle Kate riding outfit pattern from the 1990s.

We tracked one down on eBay. So now Ruth will have the outfit to go with the horse and the side saddle :-)

Size 14 to 18 pattern found

Butterick 3531 misses oversized blouse, top and pants pattern from

Jen was able to find this pattern in every size except the one she needed. Cindy finally spotted the correct size on eBay -- right at the same time Jen did, too.

Style tops pattern found

Style 2727 misses tops pattern from the 1990s.

After nothing for months, several of these suddenly turned up on eBay. Thanks to everyone who alerted us! Shannon snagged one with a Buy-It-Now and is very happy to have the pattern.

Quest #1 completed

McCall's 2746 misses dress and duster pattern from the 1970s.

This was a pattern quest based on a description. Sally eventually found the pattern herself, but it wasn't because folks didn't try. Here's the photo in case you missed it.

Vogue 1646 Yves St. Laurent dress pattern from the 1970s.

This was a pattern quest based on a description -- particularly the bright colors on the envelope. Jana spotted one first, but she passes on her thanks to everyone who helped her look.
